![]() ![]() The only reproducible strangeness with aggro seems to come from the guard/soldiers thing I mentioned.(I should also point out that many people allied with the Stormcloaks seem to hate me, despite the fact that I've not allied with either side, nor even started the civil war quest). Skyrim is strange, even without mods these things can randomly break. Talsgar the Wanderer is a Nord bard in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim who can be found wandering the roads all over Skyrim. Usually, I can reload to an earlier save and they stop being aggro, which leads me to believe that it is a random glitch. Like a follower, he normally can only be killed if hit by the Dragonborn, or taking a powerful splash damage attack. Other than that, I've had the odd actor go aggro with no rhyme or reason for it. But if I let my allies kill him for me, I get no penalty. It's weird, because if its a guard, it won't be every guard in town, just one guard, unless, of course, I have the audacity to defend myself, in which case all the guards will attack me. More often than not, I get attacked by random guards allied with teh Stormcloaks. I've got Civil War Overhaul, and I'm not wearing any Imperial or Stormclaok uniform items that I'm aware of (unless the fur boots count). I sometimes get attacked for no reason by Stormcloak soldiers and Imperials alike. I find that actor agression is something that can break on some characters over time, even in an unmodded game. I didnt notice anything unusual about his flute. It could be a mod, but it could also not be.
Talsgar the Wanderer spawned in the Bee and Barb in Riften and was singing The Age of Oppression.
A justifiable homicide since he attacked me first I suppose. Oh and when we fight, if me or my follwers kills him, I get no bounty from it. Why is he attacking me? Has anyone esle ever had this friendly bard go crazy on them before? I like Talsgar, I don't want him dead if I can avoid it. I tried to avoid him for 30 seconds or so, sheathing my weapon in hopes he'd stop but then all the bar patrons came after him, and of course slaughtered him. As soon as I take 1 step in, he goes crazy again. Of course my band of followers bludgeoned him to death within seconds.īut I like Talsgar, so I loaded my last save, only about 10 seconds prior to entering the tavern, this time telling my follweres to "relax" outside. Talsgar was there singing, but as I approached the bar to sit, he attacked me. He's a frinedly bard who travels from town to town.barding it up I guess.Īnyway I went into the tavern in Markarth today just before I logged off. So what would make him turn hostile on me I was running down the raod and noticed person on the road it was him. It roared in pain, and seeing his chance, Talsgar struck at its thick neck, lopping its head off in one strike. So I'm sure most of us have run into Talsgar the Wanderer [in our travels through Skyrim. Taking advantage of Talsgar's distraction, I charged toward the troll, and delivered a palm strike to the beasts back. ![]() Talsgar's footwork was second to none, as he deftly avoided every strike, following each dodge with a flash of his blade, leaving bleeding gashes over the creatures hide. He pointed his sword at the beast and proclaimed, "Bother this lady no more, foul beast! You face Talsgar the Wanderer, finest bard in Skyrim!" The troll changed course toward him instead, and wildly swung its arms in his direction. He let out a battlecry, immediately catching the trolls attention. I entered my stance and waited for it to approach, but suddenly from the top of the hill leapt an admittedly handsome white-haired young Nord dressed in fine clothes wielding a short sword. Suddenly, I heard a roar from behind me, and out from the brush charged a troll. The path led down toward one of the tributaries of Lake Honrich through the birch forest. ![]()
